The angel's voice echoed in my soul like a thunderclap,
as I fought to arise from an oblivious slumber.
For ages my heart was numb with content, but not this day.
I am free to write my tale, and to wonder, again.

The angel assigned a quest for the new millenium,
in the wake of the creation of the Divine Portal.
I am to journey again through the celestial realms
and become the voice of the New Age of Enlightenment.
